Datang International Power Generation Company Limited ("Datang Power" or "the Company", the former "Beijing Datang Power Generation Company Limited" ) is one of the large sized independent power producer in China. The main business scope covers construction and operation of power plants, sale of electricity and steam, proliferation and maintenance and repair of power generation equipment, power technology service. By now, the Company manages over 100 power generation companies or other project companies, which are located in over 18 provinces in China.
On 13th December 1994, the former "Beijing Datang Power Generation Company Limited" was registered in the State Administration of Industry & Commerce of the People's Republic of China.
On 13th May 1998, the Company has been changed into foreign joint venture.
On 15th March 2004, the Company has been renamed as "Datang International Power Generation Company Limited".
